Pastoral Biography

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord”.

~ Luke 4:18-19

Reverend Jason Nicholas Clark, a native of Los Angeles, California, is the Founder and Pastor of the Omega Baptist Church & Ministries located in Owings Mills, Maryland. Reverend Clark accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at the age of 17. He is a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia and Howard University School of Divinity in Washington, DC.

Reverend Clark was licensed and ordained at the Good Shepherd Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Robert C. Hunt. At the Good Shepherd Baptist Church, Reverend Clark served as the Assistant Pastor for Pastoral Care and Counseling. He also served as Youth and Young Adult Minister at the Bethel AME Church under the leadership of Reverend Frank M. Reid, III. In that capacity, he was responsible for the youth and young adults participating in the overall life of the church. He was also responsible for youth and young adults’ bible studies and spiritual formation.

Omega Baptist Church is “1 Church in 2 Locations”. In March 2013, the Lord enlarged the church’s territory and they were blessed with another location in Northeast Baltimore.

Reverend Clark has been gifted with many talents which he uses for the uplifting of Jesus Christ. God continues to use this anointed vessel to transform lives, heal hearts, develop disciples and lead others to Christ. With a prolific, yet insightful and charismatic preaching style, Reverend Clark is dedicated to spreading the “Good News” of the Gospel.

Reverend Clark currently serves as the head tennis coach (“Coach Clark”) for the Men and Women’s tennis team at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland. He is also a song-writer and music producer, and has written, arranged and produced many songs. He released his first CD in 2009 and is currently working on his second album. His music is uplifting, powerful and poignant; however, his music ministry is far from his only focus.

In March 2017, Reverend Clark’s vision to create a Christian cartoon character to capture and engage young minds with humor and animation came to fruition when “Psalmy” made his ministerial debut. Psalmy’s purpose is to share the Gospel in an innovative and creative manner that children can relate to, and understand. Reverend Clark is currently working with the youth of Omega to create a series of books, television programs and school curriculum about Psalmy and his friends—the Wonderful Wolves.

Currently, Reverend Clark and the Omega Church can be seen on the 1st and 4th Sunday of every month on ABC Channel 2.

Reverend Clark loves his family and cares deeply for the people of GOD.

Did You Know Our Pastor Can Sing?

He is the first to admit he is no singer and is not gifted or trained with the talent of playing any musical instrument. However, Pastor Clark does write and arrange music beautifully through the power of the Holy Spirit and prays that his music will touch the heart of this world to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

He released his first CD May 08, 2009 under Proof Entertainment.
